Celebrate all holidays in Lake Tahoe

Many people are enjoying a day off today in recognition of President Abraham Lincoln.  This is also a very popular weekend to be in Lake Tahoe because of the normally epic February skiing (though this year is not quite normal).

Did you know that Lake Tahoe is a fabulous place to enjoy all holidays?  Buying a South Lake Tahoe home would be the best way to enjoy every day, including holidays, in one of the most beautiful places in the world!

Finding a Tahoe home for sale that would satisfy your holidays in the area is easy.  Would you like to enjoy the 4th of July in Lake Tahoe?  If so, a perfect place to watch the fireworks is from your lakefront home.  Would you like to boat over to the fireworks?  If so, then finding a Tahoe Keys home for sale with a boat dock would be a great choice.  The private Glenbrook community has a special celebration for the 4th as does Tahoe Meadows (though to find a home for sale here is very rare).  South Lake Tahoe also currently has fireworks on Labor Day weekend as well.

Do you enjoy spending time in Tahoe during the fall?  Thanksgiving brings the fall foliage of the Sierras and it’s beautiful!  A home in Gardner Mountain, Upper Truckee, Christmas Valley, Camp Richardson, Heavenly Valley, or Fallen Leaf Lake neighborhoods puts you in the midst of the colorful Aspen trees as they change from yellow and green to reds and oranges.  South Lake Tahoe has an annual Salmon Festival and Oktoberfest celebration to also put you in the mood for fall.  Walks and bike riding on trails through the colorful meadows under the changing trees is a lovely way to spend a day in Lake Tahoe. Imagine if all of that was out the backdoor of a home you owned?

Christmas and New Year’s in Lake Tahoe is always full of activities as well as the beauty of the surroundings. Finding a cabin for sale in South Lake Tahoe would put you in close proximity to all of the snow fun on both sides of the state line.  Kingsbury Grade homes are higher in elevation than a lot of neighborhoods so you’re one step close to sledding, cross country skiing, skiing and snow shoeing.
