Great Lake view neighborhoods with homes for sale in South Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe is a fabulous place to own a home.  Breathtaking views, peaceful surroundings, nature and serenity at your doorstep.  People that own a home in Tahoe find the area a calm and easy way of living compared to the hustle and bustle of city living and commuting.

I am here to help people find the right Lake Tahoe home that best fits their lifestyle and dream.  Today we’ll focus on the Lake Tahoe homes for sale with a view of the lake.  Who wouldn’t want a daily glimpse of this fantastic lake from their home?  South Lake Tahoe real estate has many choices when it comes to homes with a view.

Many South Lake Tahoe neighborhoods have homes with lake views, both on the California side and Nevada side of the lake. Cabins for sale in South Lake Tahoe can be anywhere, from the lake to the meadows.  If its lake view you desire along with a close proximity to the lake, then homes in the Tahoe Keys, Al Tahoe, Round Hill, Zephyr Cove, Glenbrook, Cave Rock, Pinewild/Marla Bay,  Stateline, Elk Point, Skyland and Lakeridge neighborhoods might best fit your needs.  Not all homes in these neighborhoods have lake views, but many do. You can find lake view homes for sale in neighborhoods a bit further from the lake as well:  Montgomery Estates, Hidden Woods, Kingsbury, Heavenly Valley, Lake Village and Zephyr Heights.  As you can see, its not hard to find a Tahoe home for sale with a lake view!

Not every lake view home for sale in Lake Tahoe will have a high price tag but you will pay more for homes that have no view at all. Prices of homes with a lake view are generally priced lower than homes that are lake front. I will look through all South Lake Tahoe Real Estate offerings to find you the Tahoe home for sale that you desire, whether its lake front, lake view or without views.

There is a home for sale in the Tahoe Keys right now that is priced as a lake view home but it might as well be a lakefront property! It is an exquisite waterfront home just inside the Tahoe Keys entrance from Lake Tahoe.  The view from this home is of the lake while being on the water!

Many Tahoe Keys houses for sale have boat docks and are waterfront but aren’t considered lakefront since they are on the waterway off of the lake.  They won’t be considered lake view unless you can actually see Lake Tahoe from the home.

You can find a Lake Tahoe condo for sale with lake views that will fit most budgets.  This piece of Nevada Lake Tahoe Real Estate is offered in the Lake Village area.  It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with lake views from inside the tri-level home or from the outside party decks.

There is also a nice buy on a bank owned condo in the Tahoe Keys.  It is a 2 level loft unit with lake views from the upstairs deck.  It is priced to sell at $159,900.
