The Montgomery Estates neighborhood in South Lake Tahoe, CA is consistently one of the most sought after neighborhoods in all of South Lake Tahoe for many reasons. While the Annual Wagon Train re-enactment does not go through Montgomery Estates, you’ll find a street in this neighborhood (Wagon Train Trail) named in memory of the 1800s’ covered wagons that moved families and households to the western side of the United States.
